Thanks for taking a minute to visit Hextant Studios! This site serves primarily as a development journal for work on an in-progress title built using the Unity game engine. Articles will cover a variety of topics focused on 3D game development using Unity, Blender, and other content creation tools.
Hextant Studios currently consists of a single developer, so some of the focus initially will be on improving workflow. Several of the articles will cover software design and both code as well as asset-related optimizations. Once the art style is a bit more solidified, articles will also cover model and animation creation in Blender and streamlining the import process.
