Hextant Studios is an independent game company currently run by a single developer. I’ve been a professional software engineer for roughly 20 years and for the majority of that time I led the game engine development team at my former company. I had the pleasure of working with many awesome people over the years, including several that have ended up working on their own game projects.
For the past few years, I’ve been working part-time on a couple of related game ideas and wanted to finally focus on getting a prototype to a playable stage with a somewhat solid foundation. The goal of this website is to document that process in an attempt to help others save time and frustration.
